Family Pictures

Last Saturday we went out to the Saltair and Ashley did my family pictures. Not just Sean and my kids but my whole family. For my moms birthday Rachael, me, Kyle and Tyson put in together and had family pictures taken for her. Last time we did that was 4-5 years ago. I only had two kids that long ago. So we went out there and Ashley did her magic. I was worried that there was gonna be drama, there usually is when my mom is around. But I really love what she did. She took pictures of families together people alone, couples alone and all of us together. The most beautiful thing was that the sun was setting in some of them and the silloette of Sean and I and Rachael and Mike alone in the water was beautiful. We have to wait three weeks to see it all but I am really excited and my mom loved her birthday present. Anyways wait a few weeks and It will be on here. Little Miss Tooele Pageant

Brooklynn this month was in the Little Miss Tooele Pageant. It was something that I don't think I will do again. Why you ask? Well let me tell you the story..... This was Brooklynns first Pageant as well as mine, so I didn't know what to expect. As a lot of you know by knowing Brooklynn she is a sweetie and adorable, so why not put her into a pageant. We got there and she got shy, Brooklynn shy. Thats like Sean and singing, it doesn't mix. Anyways she got on stage and shied up and when it came time for her question she shyed up as well. Not a big deal to me, I don't mind because I didn't expect her to win, just wanted her to have a good time. Brooklynn won for most energetic which I really did like because each girl got a metal and a flower. The little girl that won really did deserve to win, you could tell she had done more than one pageant.
Now for the reason I won't let her do it again. Brooklynn got off stage in tears. She didn't understand why she didnt win. She felt bad about herself. I never wanted her to feel bad about herself. She happend to have made friends with the first runner up and she had talked to the winner and was standing next to her when she won, not that I want her to be a bad sport but I don't ever want her to feel bad about herself because she is my baby girl. She is my little mini me. I love her with all my heart.
Anyways I was very proud of her, she looked so beautiful and was just adorable on stage.

My Kenzie is growning up!

Next month my last baby, never have one again... is going to be one year old. I am feeling happy that I actually get some of my life back.. but also sad that my little angel is growing up fast. It goes alot faster when you have three other children to take care of as well. She recently started crawling and pulling herself up on funiture and walking the wall. A few days ago Sean was playing with her on the floor and he let go of her for a few seconds and she stood there all by herself. Its only a matter of time tell she starts walking. She gabs and thinks she is talking to you. She knows who dada is and calls for her brothers by saying Ba... Ba.... its quite cute actually at the top of the stairs we have a gate, she knows her brothers are in the basement so she crawls over to the gate and shakes it and loudly calls for her brothers. She knows what kittly means and chases the cat.. its very funny to watch because the cat wacks at her and runs and she knows no fear because she still chases her. She recently has been shutting doors most the time she shuts herself in the room and I find her crying because she cant get out. She is such a blessing in my life, I didnt plan her so I consider her a gift from god. I love her so much. I love waking up to her and she has the most beautiful smile. She gets all excited and kicks her legs and gets the big smile on her face. She sits up and lays on me and gos "oooooooooh" and I love that.

My Daughter the dancer

Brooklynn unfortunately had to stop preschool for the time being. But she decided she wanted to do dance. So I tookl her down and signed her up. She is learning a dance to "under the sea" from the little mermaid and she is so cute when she does the dance. Of corse she is only 4 years old and doesn't have the moves in the propper order but she is getting there. She has performances throughout the summer and cute enough her costume she wears is a mermaid costume... I think I am more excited about it than she is. I can't wait to see her perform infront of famlily.
Brooklynn looks so adorable in her little tiny ballet slippers and leatard and tutu. I think I am living vicerously through my daughter. Anyways Jonathan was going to sign up for hip hop dancing for just boys but we found out that it was on the same day and time as scouts. He go really upset and told me that scouts was more important to him that hip hop, so I think that the boys and there dad are going to sign up to learn to play the guitar, I guess the guitar hero isn't good enough anymore huh? jk.

So I decided to get my family pictures taken, because of corse there is a new little person in our family. Now me being the person I am, I wanted the pictures so close to when Christmas is because I had to get them out for Christmas. I have an amazing friend who is talented take us out to the Great Salt Lake and take our pictures. My kids had school till about 3;30 and we didn't get out there until about 4 oclock. It was Frrreeeezzziinngg by the time we got there. Luckily for us by Kenzie baby fell asleep so we left her in the van where it was nice and toasty tell we needed her. My other children froze there battooties off, but you cant tell they did in the pictures because they are amazing kids and of corse I threatened them with there lives jk. The sun is setting in the background and the colors are so pretty. My favorite picture will have to be the one of us walking on the sand with our backs to Ashley. I love that picture. I love that Mackenzie is looking over my shoulder at Ashley. Anyways It was a fun adventure and well worth it.
